If I am pregnant I will actually kill my husband. Leave it to me to start a weight loss journey and get knocked up. Really?! I’m sure its just a fluke though…I mean, what are the odds.
Well, no workout to report for yesterday thanks to the ridiculous heat the Southern states have been putting up with. We were under an ozone warning for the entire weekend, putting everything to a standstill. Tonight I ballsed up and took my son out for a walk—2.7 miles, 25 lbs toddler, 6 lbs stroller, lots of hills—around the neighborhood. Once we got back from our adventure my husband met us at the front door and wanted to do a quick mile with the dog; 3.7 miles total tonight! Not too shabby. Still feeling awesome, I am happy to report, and seeing results. Good weekend all around.

Yes! Thank you so much for the support. You are going to kick that 20 lbs in the ass, mama!
Got up at 5:45A and ran 2.7 miles—while it sprinkled. I feel like such a bad-ass right now and man, it feels good. Side note: my legs hurt. A lot.
Deep breaths, but I decided to post a picture of my progress every week for all to behold in order to keep me motivated. Yeah, yeah sounds easy but I’m challenging you—maybe not posting in the internet to be burned into history forever—on a different scale: follow with me on this journey. Making a life change is always easier when you have someone to hold you accountable and that’s what I hope to accomplish with this fitness blog. So here it is; my all out, everything, no sucking in, no booty tucking, spanx free picture. Enjoy…..ugh.

This picture was taken today right after my second workout of the day. I started doing two-a-days…today…and I feel so tired; my fingers actually hurt while I type this. No pain no gain? True story. After running tonight, I started to feel like the old me. Heres to new beginnings that will last forever.
Once upon a time there was a skinny little thing with a bangin’ body named Jessica. Jessica had all the confidence in the world and passion for fitness like no other. One day a handsome man swept her off her feet and they decided to have a baby. Jessica started packing on the baby lbs, 25 to be exact, and stopped working out. After the birth of her son she was too tired to do anything but eat snacks and watch her sleeping baby…sleep. After 17 months of slacking off, Jessica became totally unhappy with her lifestyle and weight so she decided to quit bitchin’ and start doin’. Eventually Jessica will get her hot body back and all will be right with the world. The journey will be long and tough but worth it in the end; she is ready to get fit or die tryin’.
